Criminal History
Mellis’s criminal history includes a felony drug-trafficking conviction for Conspire to Manufacture/Sell Methamphetamine Circuit Court, Williamsburg and James City County, VA, for which Mellis was sentenced to 20 years incarceration (with 10 years suspended). While his most recent conviction took place in 2008, he was incarcerated between 2009 and 2017, and he has been arrested on seven other occasions which did not result in a conviction, including for assault and domestic assault in 2019
